NOV 2008 | Shooting Eye has just wrapped production of a web-video series that goes behind the scenes at the making of a music cd for charity. Directed and produced by Jeremy Major and Aaron Lam. View series.

Design Hope is an organization that raises money through the arts for Hamilton's Out of the Cold program. In turn, Out of the Cold provides essential services for the homeless and underfed in the city's downtown core.

The web-series was designed to raise awareness of the goals of Design Hope by focussing on the stunning musical talent that have contributed to the cd. Song contributors include Jacob Moon, Liam Titcomb, Jamie Oakes, and Hailey Gillis. The album is produced by Rob Lamothe.

All proceeds from the album's sale go directly to Out of the Cold.

"Every cd sold provides six meals," says Design Hope's chair Dan Medakovic. Dan has been nurturing this project for some eight years. This new cd, titled Under Angels, is the third of its kind to be released.

The Shooting Eye is honoured to be a part of a project that is so beneficial to the Hamilon community. The end result is the release of seven videos on TheSpec.com and YouTube that lead up to the cd release event, December 5th, 2008.
