Mac Kids Needs You
May 2010 | If you live in South-Central Ontario, chances are you know McMaster Children's Hospital. It's the second busiest children's hospital in all of Canada. There's a pretty good chance that you or someone you know has needed its care at some point. You're probably also familiar with past telethons that run every spring in Southern Ontario to celebrate the miraculous work of the hospital. Well, the times they are a changing and the telethon is no more. It's a whole new format for this year's celebration. And The Shooting Eye is the production company behind it... Say goodbye to the telethon and say hello to the Mac Kids Miracle Weekend Celebration. At its core, is a 90-minute documentary directed by Jeremy Major, produced by Kelly Carney, and written by Aaron Lam. that takes viewers on a journey through the hospital and beyond, to meet incredible kids and hear powerful stories (not to mention seeing favourite local celebrities like never before). You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cheer! It's called Mac Kids Presents Miracles Big and Small, and you're about to see McMaster Children's Hospital through fresh eyes. Please tune in June 5 and 6 (3 airings) on CHCH (available in HD). We're really excited about it and can't wait to tell you more. Stay tuned for info and visit www.mackids.ca. Right now, though, we have to get back to the editing room...
