Racing Doc Now on DVD
 DEC 2008 | The thrilling, high-speed film, Sidecar: The Race 2 Road America, is now on DVD and available at AmericanSidecar.com.
Hang on for your life with this edgy and emotional look at the unusual characters who crave speed in the world’s fastest two-person sport on asphalt – sidecar racing.
Directed by Jeremy Major and produced by Kelly Carney, the one hour documentary was filmed over the course of two years and took the production team to various tracks in North America, including the ultimate track for sidecar racers - Road America in Wisconsin.
"We wanted to make a film for everyone who likes high-speed sports," says Major. "If you like motorbikes or Nascar, then this is the ultimate racing film. It's about interesting people who like to go crazy fast."

Rookie in the Rockies

 SEPT 2008 | I attended the Banff World Television Festival in June and wow, what an experience. I was a "Rookie in the Rockies". It was my first time out west and my first time at the festival and I can guarantee not my last!
I've been a producer for The Shooting Eye for about 6 years now and this was definitely my most important and exciting job to date. I went to the TV fest on advice and okay, a good push from Jacqueline Norton of the Hamilton Film Office. She said: "It was important that I go - it's a must!" And I'm glad we took her advice.
Day one was terrifying.

Project: SidecarDo you feel the need for speed? We do.  JUNE 2008 | Producer Kelly Carney and director Jeremy Major have just completed their fast-paced documentary, Sidecar: The Race 2 Road America. After more than 2 years in production, hours upon hours of footage, and something like 5000 kilometres travelled, the hour-long film is complete. It looks at the unusual characters who crave speed in the world's fastest two-person sport on asphalt.
