Creative vision lives here.
When I finished film school, a director I met asked me what I wanted to do. I said, “Direct.”
He said, “You’re too young. Wait until you’re older, when you have more life experience.”
At the time, I thought about what he said —and honestly it pushed me to prove him wrong. Today, I see that he was right about one thing… life experience makes you a better director. But waiting would have been death.
The life experience I gained from creating everyday, even if it wasn’t perfect or always accepted by the industry, was invaluable.
